German actress and director Maria Schrader will come to Cambridge to present her movie “Farewell to Europe” about the last years of Stefan Zweig in Brasil. The film has been praised by critics and has received several international awards, including the People´s Choice Award for best European film and has been Austria’s official submission to the Academy Awards for best foreign language film.

Maria Schrader has directed several award winning films and has recently come to international fame through her appearance in the German TV series “Deutschland 83” and “Deutschland 86”.
