Our Exchange with the German Societies from Oxford and London is taking place in London on Thursday, 27th April. The exact programme for the day will be confirmed shortly, but it will definitely include a talk with the German FDP politician Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger (organised by LSE) and dinner. More details will follow in due course.
For now, I am happy to announce that I managed to organise an exclusive tour of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London for the afternoon [https://www.vam.ac.uk]. The tour will be FREE to attend and the provisional schedule is as follows:
13:30 Drinks reception and welcome address by the Deputy Director andChief Operating Director Tim Reeve
14:00 Guided tour
15:00 Free time, museum café
From 16:00 onwards, activities with German Societies from Oxford and London
Due to the limited number of places for this tour, priority will be given to CUGS Members. Places will be allocated by ballot. Please sign up on the link sent to all CUGS Members by email, by Sunday, 16th April. You will receive a confirmation email with further details if you managed to secure a spot.
